Campbell, Calif.-based http://www.rockliffe.com>Rockliffe, which specializes in online messaging services, Thursday named Roger Bier as its new Vice President of Worldwide Sales.
Bier comes to Rockliffe most recently from Nortel Networks, where he was responsible for Strategic Alliance Development. Previously, Bier worked for Compaq Computer.
"Roger's extensive experience with major account sales at Compaq will be invaluable in helping us grow sales for our new MailSite Himalaya product," says Rockliffe president and CEO, John Davies. "Roger also has a great track record in channel sales and customer service. Recruiting Roger to our executive team is a major milestone for Rockliffe."
Rockliffe's MailSite program includes POP/SMTP, Web interface for account access and Web archiving for mailing lists.
