San Francisco-based Clickability, a developer of Web-based tools for the online publishing industry, today announced it has appointed Michela O'Connor Abrams to the company's board of directors. Abrams is currently publisher of the popular Business 2.0 publication, as well as president of the Business Division for Imagine Media, the publication's parent company. She brings more than 16 years of experience in publishing, Internet strategies, and online branding to the four-member board.

"Strong leadership from our board of directors is key to Clickability's future growth and success," says John Girard, Clickability's co-founder and CEO. "Michela's extensive experience in the publishing industry and expertise in strategic business development will help Clickability aggressively build on our leadership position in serving the Web publishing community."

Clickability offers a suite of Web-based tools for Web publishers to add a new level of interactivity to their Web sites. These tools include the "SAVE THIS" and "EMAIL THIS" utilities, a common sight within many content plays, which allow users to more easily save and email content while maintaining the branding of the original site.

"Online publishers are always looking for ways to add value and interactivity to their Web sites," says Abrams. "Clickability has taken a strategic approach to these challenges by developing and providing Web-based tools that also enhance online publishers' brands, as well as provide publishers with a proven model designed to generate additional advertising revenue."
