DigitalEve San Francisco, a networking association that welcomes women of all ages and experience levels who are connected with the technology industry, is gearing up to celebrate its online presence with an official launch of its site.
"The San Francisco chapter of DigitalEve is a much-needed resource for women at all levels who are looking to make meaningful connections in the local high-tech scene," says DigitalEve SF Chapter Co-chair Judy Hawkins, who helped organize the SF chapter back in September 2000.
The site will serve the community a meeting ground through local networking events and training opportunities for women.
The kickoff party will provide a festive environment for its approximate 340 members, prospective members and others connected with the tech industry (i.e., men) to meet and mingle.
"In this time of tech industry blues, we want to remind people that with all the amazing developments in IT, there is still a lot to celebrate - first and foremost, the amazing people in San Francisco who have made the industry what it is," says DigitalEve
Co-Chair Dana Jones.
DigitalEve SF is a local chapter of DigitalEve International; a 8,500-member nonprofit organization led by eight directors who are located in Boston, Chicago, London, San Francisco, Seattle, and Toronto. The group's mission includes actively giving back to the community by partnering with local philanthropic groups.

The festivities will include a salsa dance demonstration and raffle. There is a $10 suggested donation with a live DJ and dancing to follow. Men are also welcome to attend.
